Can70 is a cooperative housing project for the elderly, which was born from the desire to experience active and empowered aging, in a collaborative, healthy and self-managed environment. The project, the first senior of Sostre Cívic in the city of Barcelona, ​​it wants to make a real alternative to the predominant model, based on institutionalization or family dependence, a reality, and is committed to a future built on mutual support, solidarity and coexistence. And now registrations are open to incorporate new interested people into the group!

The objectives of Can70 are clear: to transform the current model of aging, offer an alternative to institutionalization, promote active and empowered aging, establish solid human and community bonds, avoid isolation and loneliness, and collectively manage the services and care that may be needed over time.

During the talk, the driving group will present the project and share their experience. An opportunity to learn about an inspiring proposal and take the first step towards joining it!
