On the weekend of October 5 to 7, we participated in theSchool of Som Energia which was held in Mollina (Málaga), to present the project in the final stretch of the Social Germinator 2018, a competition promoted by Som Energia and Coop57 to stimulate the creation of innovative social models with the aim of promoting new local agents for the energy transition.

As we had already announced, Sostre Cívic we were selected as finalists with the project "Shared self-consumption and sustainability in cooperative housing projects". If you want to know all the details of this initiative, you can find them in this news.

The Som Energia School is the annual meeting of people linked to the cooperative to exchange ideas and knowledge, train, debate and meet members, technical team, etc... There, we enjoyed the different sessions of the school, and on Saturday morning we presented the project to the attendees and the jury, which we were chosen, along with 4 other projects, as winners of this year's edition: Traperos of Emmaus Huelva, AlternaCoop, The Transitional i Energética Coop.

Throughout Saturday, the school participants were able to meet the different finalists in the greenhouses/stands located in one of the courtyards of the Ceulaj, the place that hosted the meeting, and where we had the opportunity to share impressions and challenges with all those interested people Everyone could choose their finalist and the voted month received the Audience Award, which in this case was the project promoted by Llars Familiars de Reus.

Finally, we want to thank all the people who supported us during the voting phase and also the jury for the recognition and push for a shared challenge: Self-consumption!
