WHO ARE WE?

Conviure a Mediona (name under construction) is born from the restlessness of some families in the face of the problem in the area of finding a place to live and of wanting to look for an ethical housing alternative with the cooperative model in right of use.
When we started we were a very large group of 13 families. A year and a half after the birth, we see that there are families who are disconnected from the group, and in order to move forward, we put in place reasonable and agreed-upon rules to continue being part of it. Finally there are seven families involved in the project.
All these families live in the area near the village of Sant Joan de Mediona, some in the same village, others in Casas Noves and others in Can Xombo. We happen to have all our sons and daughters go to or have gone to the same school. Most of us are at a similar point in parenting.

VALUES THAT DEFINE US

Below we set out two of the values that define us the most:

1. FEEL TAKEN CARE OF AND TAKE CARE OF
We believe in a coexistence project that takes care of both the group and the individual at the center. A project that creates a safe environment where you feel cared for and take care of yourself, where each individuality is heard.
Thanks to the school of our creatures we are a group of people who know or are familiar with Non-Violent Communication and other self-awareness practices. We think it is a quality to highlight in our group.

2. GROW TOGETHER
Living in community will give us the opportunity to learn from the collective. Learn from the experiences of the people who make up the group. Find what we have in common and enrich ourselves from everyone's experiences.
Our ideal would be to recover the sense of living together, of tribe and of belonging to a group.
