let's start Tornassol, a funding campaign to boost thecooperative housing in Cardedeu!

Let's launch this one campaign to issue participatory titles with the aim of buying a private lot in the municipality of Cardedeu, where it will be built Cal Paler Nou (previously called "La Serreta"), a cooperative housing building under a right of use regime.

The financing campaign, named as Tornassol, flight achieve a pioneering challenge in Catalonia: recover a plot of private property and guarantee the right to housing for the residents of Cardedeu. To finance the purchase of the plot, we have issued 600 equity securities, of 500 euros each, which can be purchased until 1arç.

We want to achieve, thanks to collective financing, a new impetus to deal, in a self-organized way, with the real estate bubble and speculation. We don't want the Cardedeu project to be unique, but we want to replicate it in other places in order to recover the private land and return it to the citizens!

The building will consist of 39 homes of different sizes, where the collective spaces will be very important. In addition, it will be built in a privileged space, connected to an agricultural park and the peri-urban park of La Serreta.

La Baula's team of architects will be in charge of the design of the project and from Sostre Cívic we have already launched a promoter group of members who will promote the promotion through a participatory process.
