Last May 5 in the auditorium of Barcelona Activa's Barcelona Nord Technology Park, the XNUMXth Cooperative Finance Financing Conference, Financoop, was held, in which we participated. This was a great opportunity to present your cooperative housing project in right of use, and to spread and publicize the initiative to financial institutions to look atobtain financing for the various collective housing projects that are being organized within the entity.

The Financing Day is a space organized by the Financoop network of meeting between cooperatives from various sectors, companies of the social economy, institutions promoting cooperativeism, public administrations and financial institutions so that they can share experiences and relate the financing needs of cooperatives to the different products offered by financial institutions .

The Financoop Network is made up of public and private institutions that drive and promote access to financing and capital for companies in the social and cooperative economy. Your goal is encourage cooperation between financial institutions, public administrations and companies in the social and cooperative economy. The Seira Foundation coordinates and energizes this network.

Sostre Cívic, in a presentation to the plenary, we explained ours alternative model of access to housing based on right of use and he detailed some data on the cooperative housing projects in right of use to the attendees. Other cooperative projects participated in the session (Som Energia, Escola Nou Patufet, Emelcat, Cos and Teb) and the study "International experiences of financing the social economy" was also presented.
