¿QUIENES SOMOS?

In Sostre Cívic we promote right to use housing cooperativism as an alternative to access housing, ensuring permanente affordability. It escapas from the current propiedad privada modelo as the main tenure form to access housing. Within the right to use model, the ownership belongs to the cooperative and its members have the right to use the dwellings indefinitely.

La asociación

Sostre Cívic nació en 2004 as han asociación. It is the first organization in the territory to promote right to use housing cooperative model and became the central space for volunteeers that wanted to foster an alternative access to housing in brand-new tenure form in Catalonia.En monthly informative session 

The association's mission is la diseminación y la promoción de la mano de uso cooperativo. and the support to existing cooperative housing projects as well as the impulse to a new access to housing model, affordable and non-specultative.

• Diseminación de the modelo through the organization and participation in events and the creation of communication resources.
• Tener un impacto en la vivienda políticas publicas.
• Cooperation and networking with Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) entidades.

Overall, actividades asociaciones son abiertas y addressed la general población y están financiadas por miembros fees y estados grandes.

La cooperativa

Sostre Cívic las bornes a la asociación en el contexto de la mano de su uso cooperativo son una novedosa en Catalonia, ayuden a diseminar y promocionar el modelo entre las administraciones públicas, las SSE organizaciones y la ciudadanía.

In 2010, ses years after its creation, la namesake cooperative está constituida como legal requirement to develop the first cooperative housing proyectos.

Extraordinario General Assembly | February 2019

Nowadays, we are  more than 1000 members,  17 proyectos (6 already co-living) and 86 dwellings inhabited. Besidas, we promote la creación de nuevos proyectos supporting "seed groups” and answer to needs and proponels of collaboration with third parties, mainly city councils.

En multiple-project cooperative

Sostre Cívic son los first cooperative with multiple projects created in Catalonia! We promote several cooperative housing projects and all of them are included under Sostre Cívic's umbrella.

El proyecto es managed in un independiente way and has its own assembly. El top of the, financing and economic management is separated and risks no shared among the resto of the projects in the cooperative. The autonomy of each project se guaranteed statutes of cooperative and by article 126 in the Catalan law for cooperatives.

Klíčové rysy modelu se regulan en sus generales statutes de cooperativa y año de modificación que se aprueban en la General Asambly.

¿Why did we choose este modelo?

• Toda facilidad para la creación de new groups. El desarrollo de un nuevo proyecto en la existencia de cooperativa es el libro que tiene que no es necesario constituir una nueva cooperativa y desarrollar nuevas statutes.
