As part of this year's Solidarity Economy Fair that took place last weekend of October 21 and 22, groups and people linked to cooperative housing met to promote a sectoral Housing of the Solidarity Economy Network.

This was a first informal meeting where they shared concerns about cooperative housing and the need to promote a housing sector within the framework of the XES. There was a debate about the objectives that motivate the creation and the members who must integrate it as well as the main actions to be developed.

From SostreCívic we are very happy with the emergence of this new network to link and strengthen the different cooperative housing initiatives and the promotion of new workspaces and advocacy to advance alternatives for access to housing based on models not speculative.
