The call of the Unique Projects aims to generate employment through the creation of new business projects, new lines of business, new companies and new markets within the framework of the social and cooperative economy and taking advantage of strategic opportunities in the activity sector itself or in the territory.

This grant is within the framework of the Social Economy, and is promoted by the Department of Work, Social Affairs and Families of the Generalitat de Catalunya, with funding from the Ministry of Employment and Social Security of the State Public Employment Service.

Thanks to having been beneficiaries of the Projectes Singulars 2019 program, since Sostre Cívic we can work on build a model of cooperative housing in right of use in Catalonia in different aspects and generate knowledge, tools and resources through the following projects:

• Creation of an observatory of the cooperative housing sector in use: We will carry out an analysis of the sector to detect projects, groups, assets... and collect them in an open digital dissemination tool (www.llargavista.coop). 
• Proposed tax treatment: Creation of a group of experts that will be in charge of drawing up a report on the fiscal framework and its applicability in cooperative housing in right of use.
• Elaboration of informational guides on issues related to cooperative housing. The topics chosen are: group cohesion, connection with the environment, legal framework and international experiences.
• Elaboration of a tool for the study of economic viability of projects, which allows a simplified calculation of expected investment and expected installments. 
• Generation of a digital management platform for cooperative housing projects, which facilitates the management and administration of housing projects. It will also serve as a space to facilitate the internal participation of partners, to contribute to open internal debates (general or specific to the group or project) or propose new ones.
• Drafting of a work proposal for social inclusion in projects: Report on entities in the field of inclusion and possible collaboration strategies to incorporate profiles with special vulnerability in cooperative housing projects. 
• Carrying out a comparative analysis of prefabricated and non-prefabricated systems and their environmental impacts. A study and proposal for the implementation of a modular system will also be included, in order to analyze and compare different construction systems.
• Development of a new line of activity aimed at developing the use of inactive assets, especially of large holders and by means of counting and retraction, to increase the housing stock managed from the social and solidarity economy.
• Drafting of a report on proposals for political influence and impetus, together with the rest of the sector, for a proposal to amend the law on cooperatives for the introduction of a specific typology of cooperative housing in right of use with its characteristics.
• Promotion of territorial and sectoral structuring to facilitate the creation of new cooperative housing initiatives in use throughout Catalonia: Project activation devices will be generated in the counties of Girona, Central Catalonia, Terres de l'Ebre and Camps de Tarragona; which will include participation in the territorial Athenaeums, meetings with groups and administrations and the realization of open divulgative activities.
