Today we open the process of joining the waiting list of Cirerers!

Cirerers was born in 2016, when we decided to enter the competition promoted by Barcelona City Council to develop a cooperative housing project in the Roquetes neighborhood of the city.

With a driving group made up of members of the entity, the team of architects from Celobert, and many other collaborators, we drew up the winning proposal. So, since 2017 all the agents involved in this project we work to extend cooperative housing in right of use to more places in the city, and thus gain ground for speculation linked to the real estate market that unfortunately lives in the city. 

Cirerers is located in Plaça de les Dones del Roquetes district of Barcelona. In the coming months we will start the construction of the building, which has 7 floors and a total of 32 homes between 40 and 70m2 and a variety of shared spaces: study, multipurpose room, premises, kitchen, terraces... designed to give response to the needs of the community.

The people who are part of it have actively participated in the whole process and have joined together due to common concerns and experiences in the associative world with the aim of making it a reality a community project that respects the environment and its surroundings. During the beginnings of the group's creation, it drew up an ideology in the form of a decalogue to define the principles that characterize them, and which you can consult in this link.

We currently have one active campaign Tornassol of participatory titles to collectively finance the construction of the building of Cirerers… and now we also open your waiting list for future additions to the project!

If you like this project and want to be a part of it, these are the ones necessary requirements to sign up:

• Register at application form.
• fulfill the Barcelona Official Protection Housing requirements (at the time of moving in). In this project the maximum income limit cannot exceed 4,5 IPREM.
• If you are not yet a member of the cooperative, you can also sign up for the list, but we recommend that you expedite the process to join it, since you can only join the project if you have completed this procedure.

Once you fill out the form, you become part of the waiting list of Cirerers and we will contact you when there are vacancies in the project. If you are a partner, you can consult the waiting lists where you are registered through The Internal, management and communication tool for members.
