On Saturday September 29 from 10.30 a.m. to 14 p.m you have an appointment in Barcelona! The different cooperative housing projects in the city will be found on the site of La Balma, at Carrer Espronceda 131-135, to share a morning of experiences, reflections and different activities for the whole family.

La Balma and a project of Sostre Cívic located in the neighborhood of Poble Nou, where we will build a building with energy efficiency criteria and which will consist of 20 homes, two commercial premises and a series of community spaces that will enrich coexistence and strengthen ties with the social and associative environment .

Without a doubt, this is an ideal space to enjoy this meeting organized by Barcelona City Council and designed to spread the cooperative housing model as well as to present the 6 projects that are currently underway in the city, three of which are from Sostre Cívic: princess, 49 (Old City), Constitution, 83-89 (Sants-Montjuïc), Espronceda, 131-135 (Sant Martí), Ulldecona, 26-28 (Sants-Montjuïc), Plan of Cirerers, 2-4 (Nou Barris) and Joan de Borbó, 11 (Ciutat Vella).

At the meeting there will be different spaces and activities open to all interested people:

• A exhibition with panels explaining the six cooperative housing projects mentioned above and the current situation of housing problems in the city.

• Un informative space where you can find all the information about Sostre Cívic and other entities related to cooperative housing, and we will be there to answer all your questions.

• Roundtable from 12 to 13 p.m., where several experts will discuss the different models of cooperative housing that are being put into practice in Barcelona and other cities around the Mediterranean.

• In addition, there will be different events throughout the day children's activities, such as a balloon and face-painting workshop, and crafts designed to also reflect with the little ones on the right to housing and the new models of ownership.
